Какво правиш там в Хасково? Това ме питаха вчера, мили приятели, които изобщо не можехте да повярвате, че можете сериозно да изучавате свободни духове и тамплиери от Хасково в бившия Изток. И по-нататък: никога не е имало евангелизаторско течение от Изток.

Трябваше да се посмея малко в началото. Имам предвид освен факта, че Израел е на Изток. Източната Римска империя след 314 г. сл. Хр., след Миланската конвенция е първата държава, която приема християнството като държавна религия.

Да, Павел също се скиташе из източната и южната част на Европа с провинциите Тракия и Македония до Гърция, но не и на запад. И все пак, когато човек мисли за евангелисти днес, той мисли предимно за американците. Да, може би още няколко германци. Но на никой, който е дошъл от Изтока.

И това прави задачата вълнуваща, защото Библията ни казва за Изтока:

Матей 24:27 Защото както светкавицата идва от изток и свети на запад, така ще бъде и пришествието на Човешкия Син.

За да дойде истинското Божие царство от изток.

Не мислиш ли така?

Wie ein Blitz aus dem Osten!

Was treibt ihr denn da in Haskovo? Das hat mich, liebe Freunde, gestern gefragt, der so gar nicht daran glauben konnte, dass man ein Freigeister and Templerstudium allen Ernstes von Haskovo im ehemaligen Osten betreiben kann. Und dann weiter: Es ist doch noch nie eine evangelistische Strömung aus dem Osten gekommen.

Ich habe im ersten Moment ein wenig lachen müssen. Ich meine einmal abgesehen davon, dass Israel im Osten liegt. Das Oströmische Reich nach 314 n.Chr., nach der Mailänder Vereinbarung der erste Staat war, der das Christentum als Staatsreligion eingeführt hat.

Ja auch Paulus mit den Provinzen Thrakien und Makedonien bis nach Griechenland den Osten und Süden Europas, nicht aber den Westen durchwanderte. Und dennoch denkt man, wenn man heute an Evangelisten denkt, primär an Amerikaner. Ja, vielleicht noch ein paar Deutsche. Aber an niemand der aus dem Osten kam.

Und das macht die Aufgabe spannend, weil uns ja die Bibel zum Thema Osten mitteilt:

Mt 24,27 Denn wie der Blitz ausgeht vom Osten und leuchtet bis zum Westen, so wird auch das Kommen des Menschensohns sein.

So das das eigentliche Reich Gottes aus dem Osten kommen soll.
