Винаги е изненадващо, скъпи приятели, когато научаваме в Деяния на апостолите, глава 11, стихове от 19 до 30, че първите християни не са родени в Ерусалим, а в Антиохия.

Християните станаха християни едва когато Божието царство беше проповядвано на гърците. И Варнава доведе Павел от Тарс да води църквата. Така че първите християни са били от павлианската вяра. Тук също нямаше никой от ранната общност.

И те останаха в църквата цяла година, като поучаваха мнозина. – В Антиохия учениците за първи път са наречени християни. 27 В онези дни дойдоха пророци от Йерусалим в Антиохия. 28 И един от тях на име Агав се изправи и предсказа чрез Духа голям глад, който щеше да дойде върху целия свят; това се случи при император Клавдий. 29 Но всеки от учениците реши да изпрати дар според възможностите си на братята, които живееха в Юдея. 30 И те направиха така и ги изпратиха при старейшините чрез Варнава и Савел.

Човек може да се запита доколко учението на Павел всъщност е влязло в сила тук, тъй като самият Павел, според собствените си изявления, извършва проповедна служба, без да се консултира с учениците.

Какво различно би учило днешното християнство, ако линията на Ерусалим беше надделяла? Учение, което се състоеше значително повече от посланието за Царството Божие.

Es ist immer wieder überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir in der Apostelgeschichte im Kapitel 11 in den Versen 19 bis 30 erfahren, dass die ersten Christen nicht in Jerusalem, sondern in Antiochia entstanden.

Es erst Christen wurden, als man auch den Griechen vom Reich Gottes predigte. Und Barnabas Paulus von Tarsus als Gemeindeleitung holte. So das die ersten Christen also paulinischen Glaubens waren. Auch hier niemand von der Urgemeinde mit dabei war.

Apostg. 11,19 Die aber zerstreut waren wegen der Verfolgung, die sich wegen Stephanus erhob, gingen bis nach Phönizien und Zypern und Antiochia und verkündigten das Wort niemandem als allein den Juden. 20 Es waren aber einige unter ihnen, Männer aus Zypern und Kyrene, die kamen nach Antiochia und redeten auch zu den Griechen[1] und predigten das Evangelium vom Herrn Jesus. 21 Und die Hand des Herrn war mit ihnen und eine große Zahl wurde gläubig und bekehrte sich zum Herrn. 22 Es kam aber die Kunde davon der Gemeinde zu Jerusalem zu Ohren; und sie sandten Barnabas, dass er nach Antiochia ginge. 23 Als dieser dort hingekommen war und die Gnade Gottes sah, wurde er froh und ermahnte sie alle, mit festem Herzen an dem Herrn zu bleiben; 24 denn er war ein bewährter Mann, voll Heiligen Geistes und Glaubens. Und viel Volk wurde für den Herrn gewonnen. 25 Barnabas aber ging nach Tarsus, Saulus zu suchen. 26 Und als er ihn fand, brachte er ihn nach Antiochia. Und sie blieben ein ganzes Jahr in der Gemeinde und lehrten viele. – In Antiochia wurden die Jünger zuerst Christen genannt. 27 In diesen Tagen kamen Propheten von Jerusalem nach Antiochia. 28 Und einer von ihnen mit Namen Agabus trat auf und sagte durch den Geist eine große Hungersnot voraus, die über den ganzen Erdkreis kommen sollte; dies geschah unter dem Kaiser Klaudius. 29 Aber unter den Jüngern beschloss ein jeder, nach seinem Vermögen den Brüdern, die in Judäa wohnten, eine Gabe zu senden. 30 Das taten sie auch und schickten sie zu den Ältesten durch Barnabas und Saulus.

Man sich fragen könnte, wie viel eigentlich hier von paulinischer Lehre einfloss, da ja Paulus selbst laut eigenen Angaben einen Predigtdienst ohne Absprache mit den Jüngern versah.

Was wohl das heutige Christentum anders lehren würde, wenn sich die Jerusalemer Linie durchgesetzt hätte? Eine Lehre, die deutlich mehr aus der Botschaft des Reich Gottes bestand.

Did Paul distort the message?

It is always surprising, dear friends, when we learn in Acts of the Apostles, chapter 11, verses 19 to 30, that the first Christians were not born in Jerusalem, but in Antioch.

Christians only became Christians when the Kingdom of God was preached to the Greeks. And Barnabas brought Paul from Tarsus to lead the church. So the first Christians were of the Pauline faith. Here, too, no one from the early community was there.

Apostle 11:19 But those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose because of Stephen went to Phenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, and preached the word to no one except to the Jews. 20 Now there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and spoke also to the Greeks, preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus. 21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord. 22 Now the news of it came to the ears of the congregation at Jerusalem; and they sent Barnabas to go to Antioch. 23 When he came there and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and exhorted them all to abide in the Lord with a steadfast heart; 24 For he was a man approved, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And many people were won to the Lord. 25 Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul. 26 And when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. And they remained in the church a whole year, teaching many. – In Antioch the disciples were first called Christians. 27 In those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit a great famine that was to come upon all the world; this happened under the Emperor Claudius. 29 But each of the disciples decided to send a gift according to his ability to the brothers who lived in Judea. 30 So they did so, and sent them to the elders through Barnabas and Saul.

One might ask oneself how much Pauline teaching actually came into play here, since Paul himself, according to his own statements, carried out a preaching service without consulting the disciples.

What would today's Christianity teach differently if the Jerusalem line had prevailed? A teaching that consisted significantly more of the message of the Kingdom of God.
