Es ist überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir im 1.Korintherbrief im Kapitel 8 ab Vers 4 erfahren, dass es keinen anderen Gott in dieser Welt gibt als den Vater. Und man könnte sich fragen: Widerspricht sich denn Paulus nicht in einem fort?

1.Korinther 8, 4 Was nun das Essen von Götzenopferfleisch angeht, so wissen wir, dass es keinen Götzen gibt in der Welt und keinen Gott als den einen. 5 Und obwohl es solche gibt, die Götter genannt werden, es sei im Himmel oder auf Erden, wie es ja viele Götter und viele Herren gibt, 6 so haben wir doch nur einen Gott, den Vater, von dem alle Dinge sind und wir zu ihm, und einen Herrn, Jesus Christus, durch den alle Dinge sind und wir durch ihn.

Denn: Hat uns Paulus nicht auch schon einen ganz anderen Gott dieser Welt vorgestellt?

2Kor 4,4 den Ungläubigen, denen der Gott dieser Welt den Sinn verblendet hat, dass sie nicht sehen das helle Licht des Evangeliums von der Herrlichkeit Christi, welcher ist das Ebenbild Gottes.

Den Teufel. Der unsere Sinne verblendet.

Was er aber uns tatsächlich damit erklären will, dass erklärt er uns bereits im Kapitel 2 dem Vers 12:

1Kor 2,12 Wir aber haben nicht empfangen den Geist der Welt, sondern den Geist aus Gott, damit wir wissen, was uns von Gott geschenkt ist.

So das ihm Götzenopferfleisch eigentlich gleichgültig sein kann. Paulus spricht, so wie übrigens vor ihm auch schon Jesus, von zwei Welten. Der Welt des Teufels, der heutigen Welt und der Welt Gottes, der zukünftigen Welt. Wobei es letztendlich um zwei unterschiedliche Geisteseinstellungen geht.

Der Geist der Welt das „Ich will haben…“ oder das „Ich bin …“ und der Geist Gottes, das „Wir sind die Kinder Gottes“.
