И след това отново изненадващо какво проповядва Павел на хората, когато проповядва. А именно, че Исус е Царят. Нещо, което може да е доста светско, тъй като вече знаем от Ефес, че са искали да обвинят Павел в това:

Деяния 17:7 Джейсън я прибра! Всички те нарушават указите на императора, защото твърдят, че друг е истинският цар, а именно Исус!"

Днес никой не знае нищо за проповедите на Павел за Царството Божие. И днес от християните вече не се очаква, ако изобщо има такива, да осъществят Божието царство тук, в света. Нещо, което, строго погледнато, противоречи на откровението.

Откровение 17:14 Те ще се бият срещу Агнето и Агнето ще ги победи, защото той е Господар на господарите и Цар на царете, а тези, които са с него, са призованите, избраните и верните.

А борбата с дявола? И това е отдавна забравено!

Christus in Vergessenheit!

Es ist überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir in der Apostelgeschichte im Kapitel 18 in den Versen 1 bis 5 lesen, dass Paulus bis Timotheus kommt in Korinth als Zeltmacher agiert, bei dessen Ankunft aber dann ganz auf die Verkündigung umschaltet.

Apg 18,1 Danach verließ Paulus Athen und kam nach Korinth 2 und fand einen Juden mit Namen Aquila, aus Pontus gebürtig; der war mit seiner Frau Priszilla kürzlich aus Italien gekommen, weil Kaiser Klaudius allen Juden geboten hatte, Rom zu verlassen. Zu denen ging Paulus. 3 Und weil er das gleiche Handwerk hatte, blieb er bei ihnen und arbeitete; sie waren nämlich von Beruf Zeltmacher. 4 Und er lehrte in der Synagoge an allen Sabbaten und überzeugte Juden und Griechen. 5 Als aber Silas und Timotheus aus Makedonien kamen, richtete sich Paulus ganz auf die Verkündigung des Wortes und bezeugte den Juden, dass Jesus der Christus ist.

Und dann noch einmal überraschend, was Paulus als er dann predigt den Menschen predigt. Nämlich das Jesus der König ist. Etwas, dass ziemlich weltlich gewesen sein dürfte, weil wir ja bereits aus Ephesus wissen, dass man Paulus deswegen anklagen wollte:

Apg 17,7 Jason hat sie bei sich aufgenommen! Sie alle verstoßen gegen die Verordnungen des Kaisers, denn sie behaupten, ein anderer sei der wahre König, nämlich Jesus!"

Heute weiß niemand mehr etwas über die Reich Gottes predigten des Paulus. Und heute wird nicht einmal mehr von den Christen erwartet, so weit es dann überhaupt noch welche sind, dass das Reich Gottes hier auf der Welt entsteht. Etwas, dass genau genommen der Offenbarung widerspricht.

Offb 17,14 Die werden gegen das Lamm kämpfen, und das Lamm wird sie überwinden, denn es ist der Herr aller Herren und der König aller Könige, und die mit ihm sind, sind die Berufenen und Auserwählten und Gläubigen.

Und der Kampf gegen den Teufel? Der ist auch schon lange vergessen!

It is surprising, dear friends, when we read in Acts chapter 18 in verses 1 to 5 that Paul acts as a tent maker until Timothy arrives in Corinth, but then switches completely to preaching when Timothy arrives.

Acts 18:1 After this Paul left Athens and came to Corinth 2 and found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus; he had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla because Emperor Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to them. 3 And because he had the same craft, he remained with them and worked; They were tent makers by trade. 4 And he taught in the synagogue on all the sabbaths, and convinced both the Jews and the Greeks. 5 But when Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself entirely to preaching the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

And then again surprising what Paul preaches to the people when he preaches. Namely that Jesus is the King. Something that might have been quite secular, since we already know from Ephesus that they wanted to accuse Paul of this:

Acts 17:7 Jason took her in! They all violate the emperor's decrees because they claim that another is the true king, namely Jesus!"

Today no one knows anything about Paul's Kingdom of God sermons. And today Christians are no longer expected, if there are any at all, to bring about the kingdom of God here in the world. Something that, strictly speaking, contradicts revelation.

Rev 17:14 They will fight against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, and those who are with him are the called and the chosen and the faithful.

And the fight against the devil? That's long forgotten too!
